What 3D / 4D means here
3D and 4D mean three-day and four-day candle context — the “bigger picture” framing already on the homepage (“3D + 4D candles · USD + BTC”).
The scanner compares bullish and bearish trend states on those timeframes. You check both sides of the pair: a rising USD price can still lag Bitcoin. Compare USD and BTC views, then inspect the chart and flip history.
What a “flip” is / isn’t
Is: A change-in-direction framing on the timeframe you are watching — a cue to research, not an order ticket.
Isn’t: A guaranteed outcome, a managed signal service, or a promise of profit. A flip is a signal to research, not a promise of a profitable trade.
